About Us
Our journey along the paths of Bulgarian art and history began more than twenty years ago. That's when my father opened his first small gallery on Tsar Asen Street. There, for the first time, I saw various beautiful antiques in the windows and works by great Bulgarian artists on the walls.
Behind all of them sat interesting and exciting stories. The tales of times gone by were already lined with artifacts from the time. This awakened a great curiosity in me and was the spark that ignited my love for this world.
Over the years, we have moved two locations with the sole purpose of improving our exhibition space. Experience and knowledge came with many obstacles, but that did not stop my desire to learn new, exciting facts and discover new works and objects.
We were expanding and improving our collection of paintings by Bulgarian masters. I had already seen paintings of a high artistic level. Then the idea of a larger gallery was born in my head. I wanted to be able to calmly present and offer to art lovers what we had managed to build as a collection over these twenty years.
The idea became a project that I started working on.
Now I have the honor to invite you to visit our newly opened gallery "ROYAL", in the heart of Sofia, just meters from the City Garden, on the corner of "Deacon Ignatius" and "Stefan Karadzha" streets. A landmark place for the city, steeped in history and carrying the romance of our city.
The gallery is located on two floors, where you can see dozens of paintings and sculptures by classical and contemporary Bulgarian artists. We will strive to constantly enrich our collection and maintain works of the highest collector's and museum value.
Our exhibition features the names of some of our greatest artists: Vladimir Dimitrov – The Master, Nikola Tanev, Dimitar Kazakov, Vasil Stoilov, Konstantin Shtarkelov, and others.
To guarantee the authenticity of the works we offer, we work in a team with the best art historians and restorers in the country.
You can also view a remarkable ethnographic collection of beautiful jewelry, brooches and accessories from different parts of Bulgaria.
A special place in the gallery is also reserved for authentic Orthodox icons from the time of the Bulgarian Renaissance and before.
At your disposal are a rich collection of military items, interior items, silver items, etc.
