Nikolay Evrov
Nikolay Evrov (September 10, 1903, Stara Zagora – December 24, 1973, Sofia) was a Bulgarian artist, painter. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in Sofia with Professor Tseno Todorov.
His work encompasses landscape, portrait and still life, and his famous paintings are "Portrait of Dr. N. Mihov" (1936), "My Mother" (1940), "Self-Portrait with Beret" (1954) and "Portrait of a Young Girl" (1967). His works are kept in the National Art Gallery, the Sofia City Art Gallery and the galleries in Plovdiv and Gabrovo.
He was awarded the Order of Cyril and Methodius, 1st degree (1964, 1968).
